Two days transnational conference took place at 15th and 16th February 2011 in Maribor, Slovenia.

At the conference has partners and participants share solutions, initiatives and approaches that have been recognised as good solutions and debate possible new solutions for the implementation of flexicurity and active ageing policies and practices.

Transnational forum in Czech Republic


The 2nd Transnational forum DENS, where experts and stakeholders from four countries (Slovenia, Denmark, Czech Republic and Croatia) were involved, took place between between 18th and 19th November 2010 in Prague, Czech Republic.

Objectives of the forum:
  • To maintain discussions from Aalborg forum on new ideas, practices and policies concerning flexicurity and active aging with a special focus on job-rotation as flexibility tool that could be innovatively up-graded to and combined with active ageing strategies
  • To enable mutual learning by exchanging experiences, good practices and knowledge between the policy makers and other key stakeholders
  • To enable further networking of key stakeholders in partner countries

Transnational forum in Denmark


Within the project DENS the Transnational forum, where experts and stakeholders from four countries (Slovenia, Denmark, Czech Republic and Croatia) were involved, took place between 15th and 17th September in Aalborg, Denmark.

Objectives of the forum:
  • To discuss about existing policy framework, programmes and projects in partners countries related to active ageing and flexicurity
  • To find new ideas, practices, policies, initiatives related to active ageing and flexicurity
  • To enable mutual learning by exchanging experiences, good practices and knowledge between the policy makers and other key stakeholders
  • To enable further networking of key stakeholders in partner countries
