Transnational Conference "FLEXICURITY AND ACTIVE AGEING – HOW TO MANAGE CHALLENGE" Different experiences – new solutions


eim, Human Resource Development Centre, supported by the European Union, has in cooperation and support of Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs and other important national and international partners organized 2-days Transnational Conference "FLEXICURITY AND ACTIVE AGEING – HOW TO MANAGE CHALLENGE" Different experiences – new solutions«, which took place between 15th and 16th February 2011 in Maribor, Slovenia.

Slovenia is currently facing numerous changes on the area of flexicurity and social cohesion. New Labour Market Regulation Act have just entered into force, National Assembly adopted Law on Small Work in November 2010 and Pension and Disability Insurance Act in December 2010. Number of activities take place among the social partners at this time, related to the enforcement of the a.m. legislation. The Active Ageing Measures, aiming the increase of average employment rate of elderly, were adopted in autumn. Also the Bill amending the Employment Relationships Act was prepared.

At the conference, held in the framework of the European project Different experiences – new solutions, experiences and good practices examples on the area of flexicurity and active ageing from EU member states and accession countries (Denmark, Great Britain, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia etc.), were presented. Respected guests, social partners, experts and representatives from companies, non-governmental and public sector from Slovenia, as well as from abroad, shared their experiences and good practices with us.

Conclusions and recommendations of the conference will be published in the Miscellany of the Transnational conference and represent a starting point for further cooperation, exchange of practices and mutual learning between the social partners, companies and professionals, as well as development of new approaches in the field of active ageing and flexicurity in Slovenia.

Mednarodna konferenca "VARNA PROŽNOST IN AKTIVNO STARANJE – KAKO SE SPOPRIJETI Z IZZIVI", Različne izkušnje – nove rešitve

eim, Center razvoja človeških virov je ob podpori Evropske Unije in v sodelovanju z Ministrstvom za delo, družino in socialne zadeve ter drugimi pomembnimi domačimi in mednarodnimi partnerji organiziral dvodnevno mednarodno konferenco VARNA PROŽNOST IN AKTIVNO STARANJE – KAKO SE SPOPRIJETI Z IZZIVI; RAZLIČNE IZKUŠNJE – NOVE REŠITVE«, ki je potekala 15. in 16. februarja 2011 v Mariboru.

Prav v tem času se v Sloveniji srečujemo s številnimi spremembami na področju varne prožnosti in socialne kohezije. V veljavo je stopil novi Zakon o urejanju trga dela, Državni zbor je novembra 2010 sprejel Zakon o malem delu in decembra 2010 Zakon o pokojninskem in invalidskem zavarovanju, zaradi katerih med socialnimi partnerji prav v tem času potekajo številne aktivnosti povezane z njuno uveljavitvijo. Prav tako so bili lani sprejeti Ukrepi aktivnega staranja, katerih cilj je dvig povprečne stopnje zaposlenosti starejših. Pripravljen je bil tudi
Predlog zakona o spremembah zakona o delovnih razmerjih.

Na konferenci, ki je potekala v okviru evropskega projekta DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES – NEW SOLUTIONS smo predstavili izkušnje in primere uspešnih praks s področja varne prožnosti in aktivnega staranja držav članic EU in držav pristopnic (Danske, ki ima eno od najučinkovitejših kombinacij varnosti in prožnosti trga dela, Velike Britanije, Belgije, Nemčije, Češke, Slovenije, Hrvaške, idr.). Svoje izkušnje in prakse so z nami delili ugledni gostje, socialni partnerji, strokovnjaki, predstavniki podjetij, nevladnega in javnega sektorja tako iz Slovenije in tujine.

Zaključki in priporočila konference bodo objavljeni v Zborniku in predstavljajo izhodišče za nadaljnje sodelovanje, izmenjavo praks in vzajemno učenje med socialnimi partnerji, podjetji in strokovnjaki ter tudi za oblikovanje novih pristopov na področju aktivnega staranja in prožne varnosti v Slovenji.
