National workshop (NW) in Denmark was implemented trough three meetings with national stakeholders (13th June, 23rd August and 30th September/1st October 2010). The following head points that stakeholders found relevant for them as partners in active labour market policy and active ageing were: Help to industry/branch shift; Using the rights to 6 weeks of self-selected education; Need for prolonged training depending on industry change for the unemployed (possibly the basis for future growth forum request); Need for establishment of "crystal ball" - what skills will the labor demand in the longer term - beyond the crisis; Job rotation projects as pivotal in the coming years training and employment measures. Stakeholders that participated NW were representatives of Job Centres, FOA - Trade Union for public workers, 3F Aalborg – Trade Union for unskilled workers. Trade union for skilled workers within the branch of Metal Companies; Business schools; Adult educational centres; Labour market educational centres; School for social and health care; Elderly care centre. All of them have an important role within flexicurity and the following was identified: one third of employees in the field of elderly care, child care and in hospitals will retire within 5-10 years; unskilled jobs will disappear in Denmark, slow but sure (in the last 8 years more than 200.000 unskilled jobs has disappeared in Denmark and have been substituted by skilled jobs); elder workers in metal branch who can no longer handle the hard working methods in the branch. At NW head bullets for new projects for the nearest future were developed and 3 projects were identified and agreed: (1) Platform for Knowledge sharing; (3) Early Intervention for people with reading and spelling problems; (3) Unskilled to skilled worker.
